How Long to Bake Apple Pie

In order to get the best apple pie, you should set your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and let your apple pie bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Generally, an internal temperature of 175 degrees will tell you that it’s done. However, you’ll want to keep a close eye on your pie and make adjustments to suit your preferences. For instance, if you like the apples softer, you can poke the pie with a toothpick to test whether the filling is done to your liking.

If you’re worried about your apple pie having a soggy bottom, you can blind-bake your pie crust. Just line the crust with parchment or foil, fill it with pie weights or dried beans, and bake it for 10 to 15 minutes, then take everything out of the crust and add your apple filling.
